On Friday 10th June, 80 golfers teed off at the beautiful Slinfold Golf and Country Club for Horsham Matters’ charity golf day.
20 teams made up of friends, family, local businesses and keen golfers came together to network, socialise and enjoy a fantastic round on one of West Sussex’s finest courses.

The morning kicked off with breakfast before the main event got underway, with players competing across three challenges: putting competition, beat the senior captain (David Snell), and nearest the pin on five holes. The course itself provided a stunning backdrop, and the atmosphere throughout was exactly what a community event should be; friendly, fun and full of good spirit.
Lunch, prizes and a few words
After the golf came a superb lunch and prize-giving including an auction with some fabulous prizes up for grabs. Kelvin, our CEO, dropped in to say a few words and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and got involved. It was a wonderful moment to pause and reflect on just how much goodwill there is for Horsham Matters across our community.
