People are at the heart of everything we do. Every day, the Horsham Matters team supports individuals and families facing hardship, offering practical help when it’s needed most. As a team, we’ve taken steps to provide vital services for our community, and as more people reach out to us for support – it’s important that we make clear how we can help.
Providing Essentials
Our Horsham District Foodbank remains central to our work. Since being established in 2004, our foodbank has grown into a vital source of local support for our community. We now run 15 foodbank sessions across the Horsham District, alongside our mobile hub, which helps us reach people in more isolated areas. The hub also connects clients with wider support services, helping them take steps towards financial stability.
We’re here to help
If you need a foodbank voucher, please get in touch by phone or WhatsApp on 0300 124 0204, or email support@horsham-matters.org.uk.
We’re available to talk
When people are unsure where to turn, our Outreach and Support Team is here to help. We work with individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, explore the support available, and put practical steps in place through budgeting advice, benefit checks, advocacy and referrals.
On top of this, our fortnightly ‘Support on the Move‘ vehicle brings face-to-face support directly to communities around the Horsham District, including Horsham, Pulborough, Storrington, Henfield and Southwater, to name a few. This allows us to provide flexible, accessible assistance exactly when and where it’s needed. Check here on our website to see where we’ll be this week within the Horsham District!
We’re here to help you access the right support, and guide you towards a more secure future.
A safe place to eat and connect
Our community cafés in Roffey and Pulborough offer a warm, welcoming space to meet people and enjoy a nutritious meal, free of charge for anyone experiencing hardship.
Visitors share food and conversation, building confidence and social connections. They can also speak with Horsham Matters’ advice and advocacy team, who support with budgeting, benefit checks and applications, housing issues, signposting to other helpful services, and referrals such as debt support.

Your support helps
Every act of generosity helps keep our services running – from food, support, advice, advocacy and community spaces. It’s the kindness of local people, through donations, volunteering and shopping with us, that allows Horsham Matters to continue giving back and stand alongside those who need us most.
From all of us at Horsham Matters, Thank You.
