Aspen Place Care Home supports Horsham Matters this Harvest

A huge thank you to Aspen Place Care Home for hosting a Harvest Festival and collecting for our Harvest Food Donation Drive on Saturday 17th October in support of Horsham Matters. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all!

We happily joined together for an afternoon of autumn celebration, a fairy theme pumpkin decorating competition keeping everyone entertained and ready for Halloween.

With the help of Aspen Place Care Home and everyone who donated, we received 85kg of food donations to help keep our foodbank shelves stocked, all while embracing the Harvest season.

Harvest is a time to give thanks for what we have and to share with others. By donating food, you can support local people in need and celebrate the true spirit of community and generosity.

Why donate to Horsham Matters?

Like Aspen Place, you too can hold a food drive in aid of those in your local community. Get in touch to see what food we most urgently need, we’d love to work with you.

As we head into Winter, demand for our foodbank rises. Donations make a real difference, and every food item or monetary donation raised will go directly towards helping people across the Horsham District through the colder months.
